Create a prepump

Prepump lets you run token presales before your project launches on pump.fun. It’s the easiest way to raise funds, build community, and prepare your token for a successful launch.

Overview

You create a prepump, contributors send SOL to join, and once the presale is complete, your token launches and everyone automatically receives their proportional share of tokens based on their contribution.

Creating a Prepump

A quick tutorial how to launch your first prepump:

  1. Select Prepump Type Choose whether your presale will be Public or Private.

    • Public presales are open to everyone on a first-come, first-served basis, great for building community and exposure.

    • Private presales are limited to specific wallets you approve, ideal for early investors or closed groups.

  2. Fill in Your Token Details Provide the key information about your token:

    • Name and Ticker

    • Description

    • Logo and Banner

    • Social Links (Twitter, Telegram, Website)

  3. Enter The Wallet For Creator Fee Payouts

  4. Set Your Prepump Parameters Define how your presale will work:

    • Hard Cap: The maximum amount of SOL you want to raise

    • Minimum and Maximum Buy: Keeps contributions fair and balanced

    • Duration: How long the presale will run

  5. (Optional) For Private Presales Add the wallet addresses you want to whitelist. Once created, the whitelist is locked, so make sure you include everyone before launching.

  6. Create the Presale Double-check your token details and presale settings before confirming. When the presale ends, your token launches and contributors automatically receive their tokens.
